Discipleship – “Building People with the Word of God and Worship”

Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

We want to transform communities by first transforming the people that make up those communities. Buildings and streets do not make communities and neighborhoods; people make communities and neighborhoods. If a community or a neighborhood is distressed, it is because the people of that community or neighborhood are distressed. It is not enough to build new houses and repave streets to revive a neighborhood; you must rebuild the people who frequent the neighborhood to actually revive the neighborhood. You do not stop a fire by hiring more fireman, you stop a fire by teaching people how to prevent fires. You do not stop crime by strengthening your police force, you stop crime by stopping the creation of criminals. In every man or women is greatness. The pressures and adversities of life can sometimes mold and make people out to be something that is far from God’s plan for their lives. With the Word of God, the Spirit of God, and worship, we believe lives can be restored and built up to walk in the plan God had for them. We believe that God has called us to build and rebuild people for his purposes that His glory may be revealed through them.
